★ The Obscure History of the North Star ★

Being a repository of some useless but perhaps interesting historical details related to the North Star Coin Machine Co. which existed from 1949 to 1951 and produced the only two pinball machines of any significance manufactured in Canada. It was run by brothers Gérard and Jacques Tremblay in Montreal, Quebec.

Their company was the inspiration behind the name of the bar, i.e. North Star machines à piastres, opened January 1st, 2016 at 3908 St-Laurent blvd.
